Dr. Andy W. Ramos-Vera is a skilled and compassionate dentist with many years of experience serving the Charlotte, NC community. His journey in dentistry began in his hometown of San Sebastián, Puerto Rico, where he discovered his passion for the field at the age of 17. Determined to make a difference in oral healthcare, he obtained an Associate Degree in Dental Assisting with Expanded Functions, gaining invaluable hands-on experience working alongside periodontists and general dentists for over a decade.

Dr. Ramos-Vera went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in 2012. His dedication to excellence in patient care has been recognized with numerous accolades, including honors from the Academy of Operative Dentistry, the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Committed to continuous learning, he further refined his expertise by completing the prestigious MaxiCourse in Implant Dentistry at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

As a bilingual dentist, Dr. Ramos-Vera is passionate about bridging gaps in oral healthcare, especially within underserved Hispanic communities. He takes pride in being the first doctor in his family, a testament to his perseverance and dedication. His mission is to empower patients with confidence through restorative and cosmetic dentistry, blending technical precision with art to create healthy and beautiful smiles.

Outside the office, Dr. Ramos-Vera enjoys mountain biking, tennis, oil painting, and spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and son. His family’s love and support fuel his commitment to excellence, both professionally and personally.
